Information We Collect
When you request a walkthrough or quote, we collect the contact details you provide (name, business email, company, and property address) plus site information needed to design a camera system. During service visits we may record equipment serial numbers and system configurations for warranty and support purposes.
How We Use Information
Information is used to schedule walkthroughs, prepare quotes, perform installations and service, honor warranties, and comply with licensing requirements. We do not sell customer or prospect information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Camera Footage
Recorded video from your cameras belongs to you. We only access footage when you ask us to troubleshoot a system or export clips for an incident, and only with your authorization. We do not view, copy, or retain client footage beyond what a service request requires.
Data Sharing
We share information only with the equipment distributors and licensed trades involved in your project, under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We never share customer lists with manufacturers or monitoring companies.
Retention
Quote and enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after last contact. Installation records and as-built drawings are retained for the warranty period of the installed system, then securely destroyed.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you or your organization by writing to privacy@coresecuritycameras.example. We respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients in writing before they take effect.
Independence Notice
Core Security Cameras is an independent, locally owned installation company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any camera manufacturer, alarm-monitoring provider, or other brand unless explicitly stated in writing.
